IIA’s General English courses are designed to give you the confidence and skills to help you communicate fluently and accurately in a wide range of everyday situations. Our teachers are committed to helping you reach your personal, professional and academic goals.

 

- Duration: 2-50 weeks

 

 

 

- Intake Dates: Every Monday

 

- Enquiry Requirement: None however a pre-test prior to the commencement date.

  • 5 Levels: Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Upper-intermediate, Advanced
  • Skill development classes for Elementary and Pre-Intermediate levels focusing on Survival English

     in addition to Core studies to help new students adapt to living in Australia. 
  • 5 Different elective classes per week for Intermediate to Advanced classes in addition to Core

     studies maximize student progress and flexibility. 
     Electives: Public Speaking / Business Communications  / Writing and Grammar 
                    Listening & Pronunciation  / World Events & Culture    / IELTS
  • Classroom excursions (monthly) E.g. Art gallery, library & Farmers markets balancing classroom

     theory with real life practice.
  • Average class size 12-14 students with a great nationality mix
  • Computer-Aided Language Learning is conducted once a week.
