This qualification suits those individuals who aim to manage the work of others, add value to or review management practices. Their role may be in any industry or organisational setting.
Typically, people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industries or vocational areas and couple an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial approaches.

This qualification suits those individuals who aim to further develop their skills and gain a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of business contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

- Enquiry Requirement: 

  • Must be 18 years of age or over
  • Completed Year 12 (HSC or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5.5 IELTS score & above or equivalent (international students only)

- Mode of Study / Assessment Method:

Training will occur face-to-face, classroom style in full time mode. A range of assessment methods will be used to assess practical skills and knowledge, using various methods including written and/or oral questions, case studies, projects, reports, assignments and examinations.

- Pathways:

After achieving the BSB51107 Diploma of Management, candidates may undertake the BSB60407 Advanced
Diploma of Management, or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications or a degree course at a university in the Business/Management discipline.
